Re: Recruiting in Schools

Peter, we had thae same problem in Worcester, until the Professional
had a meeting with the School Deptartment Superintendent. He
indicated that it was the school principles decision on how and what
was passed out in each school. So the DE made the appointments with
the Principles, got very good results. We have started 1 urban Pack at
Belmont Street Community, and the chase continues....
You may have to come in by way of the school superintendent and DE.

Currently we are experincing a major run of urban units. We found a
very motivated individual in our Pack. We have obtained some funds
(Grant proposals) and hired him as a Paraprofessional for the Urban
Area. There is already one Pack on the books, with a possible Troop,
plus 6 more institutions asking for more information. By the way, Fredd
has been working for the council about 2 weeks.
