In many cases The schools PTO is your packs charter organization it
may be more productive if both you and the PTO chair could meet with
the principal. Or perhaps a phone call or two to several parents or
several school board members. Allowing an organization that the school
sponsors to talk to the students is nothing like allowing just anyone in off
the street. I personally would have reseverations about allowing my
son anyware near a school principal that comparred the KKK to the boy
scouts.
