Ron asked:

>>Eagle Scout Assoc. patch from?

The pocket patches are available from your local Scout Shop {tm}
or from the National Eagle Scout Association at the National
Office.

The pins can be purchased from the same sources.

>>Additionally, along the same thread as the old Eagle Scout
>>Badge and God & Country Award medal being worn by >>adults............when
do scouters wear the Scouter's Key, >>Scoutmaster Award medals?

Service and training awards are NOT the same as youth awards worn by adults,
and you should wear them during any special event in your local Council,
Ron. Most Scouters don't wear them, and instead wear the square knots,
which explains why your Council doesn't "invest" in getting the award to you
or others....in reality, the awards are more expensive ($12 for the medal; $1.20
for the square knot) and many Councils stop "giving them out" because of the
drain on their awards and recognition budget and because many of the
Scouters just take them home and put them
in a drawer or cabinet instead of wearing them (and the devices
which goes with them).

The medals are like "mini-medals" in the military, Ron...that may
be a part of the reasoning as well. The BSA is using suspended
awards for the Cub Scouting program because many Scouters expressed
"disappointment" with the old awards, thinking that they
would be larger in size. The present suspended awards also resolved a
problem from female Cub Scouters not wanting to wear the pin-on medals
because it does cause undue attention to the breast area when worn.

I am sure that eventually the Boy Scout training awards will
be also suspended from neck ribbons, which does cut down on the cost of the
award (slightly) and is more "popular" than the pin-on medals.
