An Apology for being so "phhhhhpptttH!"

Hi Gang!
I've have a request (actually, it's a song that been sitting
in my brain since I've had to chase my female cat around the
home today...she's in heat and hasn't been fixed...and there's
this male cat outside...and you get the idea!) but first:
I want to publically apologize to anyone here that thought that
my last two weeks postings were, well, not "typical Mike Walton"
stuff...you know, the kind of postings that not only took into
account the feelings of the person asking (or replying or following-up) but
also the environment in which we all SHOULD be
operating here in this forum. After re-reading a couple of
postings this afternoon, waiting for my returned phone calls,
I can see where some of you had enough concern for me to write
me privately!! *thank you for your concern...it HAS been rough*!
To summarize without going into a lot of discussion, I haven't
heard from my children in over a month, and after the last time
I attempted to talk with them, their mother started in on her
unhappiness. This gets my mother involved, and we're not talking
to each other now. Compound all of this, my mother-in-law has
been here for the past month or so, and she's a beautiful woman
and a super spoiler, but she has this "personal time piece" that
drives me to no end; and my continued "ping-ponging" with my
reserve unit...
...add to this, a series of postings that those reading it says
"wait a minute, Mike Walton..."...and you can see how hard it is
to even smile over the past couple of weeks!!!
I'm fine. The gentlewoman and I talked last night and she gave
me some super advice (as always). I've taken one task at a time
today, and have picked up some more confidence as a result.
Momma Ryan's chocolate and tapioca puddings didn't hurt, either.
And of course, a new pot of coffee after each significant task
completion didn't hurt either (this is the fourth pot!).
I'll do better. Oh yeah....I've had several requests for a
couple of my postings from the past, and so I'll post them on
a "slow day" this week (the Bobcat one is one of them, seeing how
it was extremely popular for Blue and Golds last year).
Thanks for your patience, and please stop cussing at me through
your monitors (you thought I couldn't hear you! *hehehehehee*)
Okay....has anyone know a Country song that has the following
lines in it...I've heard it a while back, but I don't know who
sings it. Please write me back privately and let me know:
"Mothers against drunk drivers, drivers against the law, the law's
against smokin' cigarettes, and I don't understand it all.."
"...and I love singin' in the rain. But I'm for love,
and I'm for happiness, and I'm for if you don't (something)..."
It's got a real catchy tune, and I heard snippets of it on the
radio this morning, but of course, radio stations (around here)
don't tell you who sang/performed the song, and their lines are
always busy with contests and "groupies" calling the station.
Thanks again, folks..."You're the Greatest!"
