Spelunking

I know virtually nothing about spelunking, but about 9 months ago
the subject came up on this list. Since our troop has a group
of older kids that would be interested in such an activity I
listened in on the thread of discussion and asked a few questons.
As a result of that information (and a little perspiration on my
part) we are taking a group of Scouts to a challenging cave in
west Texas next month. Our guides are members of the local grotto
of the NSS and really know what they are doing.
Just wanted to say THANKS to the collective wisdom of the list for
sparking the idea and supporting its development. It wouldn't have
happened without you.
