Re: Mutiple Registration Questions

OK. I may have missed something, and I deal primarily with Boy Scouts,
not Explorers, but Settummanque has succeeded in confusing me (not
a very difficult task. :)

The way I read the Safety rule of four Mike quoted, there must be at
least two adults and at least four total people on any backcountry
expedition or campout. I don't see how that can be interpreted as
requiring two SETS of adults. Why wouldn't two adults and two youth
meet the requirement? They have four individuals and two adults.

Maybe the Explorer YPP is the reason for requiring two female adults
and two male adults, but the quoted policy certainly doesn't seem
to require it. By the way, I DO believe that having four adults
instead of two is usually a good idea, just not a required one.
Am I missing something?
