Great question!! (you guys and gals are REALLY taxing my
pieces of paper and books.....not to mention my cats, that have
been used to sitting there watching me type without being
distubed!! *heheheheee*)
Here's THE explaination, taken from page 271 of the 1961 printing
of the Cubmaster's Packbook (BSA #3200):
" *Blue* stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyality,
the sky above.
*Gold* stands for warn sunlight, good cheer, and happiness".
(there's also a old filmstrip I would love to get called "The
Blue and the Gold". Anyone has a copy that I can transform to
videotape?)
