Hallo all,
I subscribed to SCOUTS-L yesterday, and was amazed to see my mailbox go
from 23 messages to 220 overnight! It took me about three hours to read
them all! I didn't realize the list was so prolific. Just as well that
I am chair-bound with two broken feet and have plenty of time to read!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Gaye Wilson, and I have been a Girl
Guide Leader in Australia for the past 18 years. Being off work for a
considerable length of time due to my current immobility (any time away
from work over two weeks or so seems considerable to me), I thought I
would subscribe to this list (I haven't done so before, because I don't
read personal email at work, and I didn't have email access at home
before). The welcoming note from the listserver mentions that you are
all a bunch of caring and friendly people, and that is borne out by the
messages sent in the last 24 hours. It's nice to be on the list.
