Looking for activities in N.C., S.C., Tenn., and Ga.
A good place to start is the Nantahala Outdoor Center in far western N.C.
It's in the heart of the mountains and offers a variety of outdoor
activities including rafting, kayaking, App. Trail passes through, mtn.
biking, etc, etc. It's sort of in the corner of the state that borders S.C.
and Ga.
Our council OA Lodge publishes a guide to camping and other activities. If
you send me your email address, I'll send the guy responsible for that an
e-note to get in touch with you on specifics for this spot and others in the
region.
