On the issue of Eagle "write-ups":
Requirements vary by Council, for instance, the Atlanta Area Council (AAC)
does not use or allow use of the workbook which is supplied by National.
Since the early 1980's the AAC has published a "Life to Eagle" Workbook
which detailed the process for earning the rank of Eagle Scout from the
time a Scout becomes a Life Scout.
It covers everything from submitting a project synopsis, documenting
volunteer time,
photographs, and how to do the final write-up. It answers many questions
that both
the Eagle candidate and his parents might have. The workbook comes in two
formats,
one for the Scout, and one for the adult leader..... It appraoches
questions about
attaining the Eagle from both perspectives...
I wonder if there are other councils out there who have also done something
similar to this?
