This summer, my troop is planning a summer trip in addition to our
normal summer camp attendance. Unfortunately, we are way behind in
our planning, and are busy trying to correct that problem. I am
hoping that some of you can help us out.
The Scouts have a variety of activities they would like to include:
rapelling, rock climbing, backpacking in the mountains, whitewater
rafting, possibly Stone Mountain, and possibly Unto These Hills in
North Carolina. Of these, the ones we are having the most difficulty
with are rapelling and rock climbing.
I would be grateful for any suggestions on where these activities
can be found in the southeast U.S. We are primarily interested in
Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee. If possible,
phone numbers and/or email/snail mail addresses would be fantastic.
To save bandwidth, feel free to email me at the addresses listed
below. I will summarize the suggestions in a couple of weeks. Thanks
for any help you can provide.
