Bart Simpson a Scout?

Was channel surfing last night and happened to go by The Simpsons
at about 10 after the hour. Seems Bart was at a 'Scout' meeting
dressed in a scout-like uniform. Major theme of the show was a
rafting trip made by the 'troop' with Homer going along with Bart.
(Ernest Borgnine was a Celebrity Dad for a boy whose dad was in
prison). Homer proceeded to screw things up with his raft taking a wrong
fork in the river and heading out to sea- only to be saved by
drifting into an oil drilling platform. Anyway- had a few chuckles-
esp when there was a close-up of Bart's merit badge sash- two badges
of note- Embalming and Patch Forgery (:-) )
For Maj Mike- Although some of us view the goal of the mission to Bosnia
as being Clinton's reelection- we wish you and the troops- GodSpeed and
pray you all will come home safely.
