Just a little advice that may or may not be applicable to the list in
general and Scouting...

It had been possible in extreme cases for AD/HD to qualify for some sort of
disability payments from the Federal Govt. Such has been tightened severely
in the last couple of years, as I had been told.

Like any government program where the standards to receive benefits can be
manipulated by the unscrupulous and where *real* cases of the disability are
often not recognized or it is possible to be diagnosed as disabled and not
be, there was a large amount of abuse.

IMO, this is one reason why insurance companies are reluctant to provide
coverage for mental health issues: the opportunity for such coverage is too
great.

Many colleges have mental health clinics where a psychologist can be seen at
a very nominal fee. I know, I used one when I was in college. Larger
schools may have a clinical psychology department -- pardon me for using the
wrong terminology since I am *not* an expert in this are -- that would be
willing to see patients.

Just a couple of thoughts...
