Speaking from the GSA prospective, only the" well off" children can afford
the total uniform. That's why the standards have become so laxed. I bought
my daughter a new one this year, and BTW, every 3 years the color changes so
one is out of date much sooner, and it cost me over $35. and that's not
everything. I did not get a hat. The GSA is a money making organization in
that respect and it angers a lot of people.
