Hi everyone,
My name is Barry Runnels, Outdoors Chairman for Edmond Troop 386. I am
looking for some information. Presently we are planning our Summer
Camp Trip in August, taking about 25 Scouts from Oklahoma City to Camp
Alexander near Colorado Springs Co. The trip will require a 14 hr
drive to and from camp. While we are there, we wanted to spend a
little time visiting some local sites.
We are traveling Aug. 3rd and need a place to sleep that night and a
place to stay Aug. 10th for our travel back the 10th.
We also would like some local advice of some FUN places to visit. We
will have about two haft days for the visit. Is there any river
rafting that we can safely take 11 year old scouts on. What other
great places would you in Pike Peak Counsel recommend The Scouts asked
us to organize the trip and we really are looking forward to the
visit.
