Uniforms---again, and Fundraising---again

Well folks, I need the collective wisdom, and perhaps some "offical" words
on the following.
Our troop plans to have a unit raising project next month. We will be
selling hot drinks during the time several historic homes are having Open
House. We will be somewhere close (I hope) to the place where the horse and
carraige(sp) will depart and return.
Now the question. Is it permissible for the Scouts to wear their uniforms
for this event?
