I couldn't help but chuckle when I saw part of this message where Dan Ocanna

I recieved quite a bit of jiving for not wearing scout socks on camp staff
this summer (I'm 40 years old btw) I wear sandals all summer and with the
activities I do wearing socks in the Mississippee and Arkansas area hasn't
worked out. It seems I get less poison ivy, shoes definately stay aired out,
and I don't have to worry about x-pairs of shoes getting wet. The only thing
that seems not to work well in the sandals is torrential mud.
