Troop 477, Atlanta Area Council (32 Scouts) holds elections
every six months, with the SPL and PL's not eligible to
succeed themselves (but can run again later; this to give others
at chance at the positions)
>My query is... can the current SPL and PL be reelected?
Thats variable from Troop to Troop, depending on your Troop's
individual make up of talents, skills, and numbers.
>If they are not reelected, do they become part of the 1 patrol we have?
Our former SPL goes back to being a member of a patrol. Although we have
had 16 & 17 year old SPL's whom we have assigned leadership positions
such as Instructor, JASM, etc.
To quote another scouter online.... "Your mileage may vary....." : )
