Sick of Fund raising!

Mark Phillips (phillips@NETNET.NET)

I'm feed up with fund rasing. Can't get people to partcipate. When
they do, its like pulling teeth to get them to run the funds back in.
Have dragged two to small claims court because they owed about $250
between them. Ended up spending money out of my pocket last year to
make sure that the BLue and Gold was a minor success. RIght now our
account has less than $300.00 in it. We have 40+ boys this year, have
yet to buy the Pinewood cars, Raingutter regatta boats, trophies,
medals awards etc. Still have over $400 in fund raising that we did
in Oct. outstanding. (whew, that felt good to vent)

Now the point to all this is, I want to go to a flat fee per boy next
year. Of course people are againts this idea........but.....

Do others do this? How much per boy do you ask for? I was looking at
about $25 per boy.
