J. Hugh Sullivan,
Thank you for your response to my posting on the wearing of Eagle
Palms. In jest I stated that since there are no Uniform Police who
would confront an Eagle Scout if he wore too many Eagle Palms a once.
But I found the Uniform Policeman.
>I have 5 palms also. I wear the silver and gold which is the ONLY
>proper way to indicate the earning of 5 palms.
Congratulations on your achievements.
>Anyone can misunderstand but, once informed, an Eagle Scout should
>not continue to make the mistake. I have no hesitation correcting an
>Eagle who wears palms improperly; the first time is in private and
>is usually sufficient for one who truly continues to evidence the
>leadership expected of an Eagle.

Wow, how can you equate an Eagle Scout's leadership qualities to the
number of Palms he wears!
