Anyone coming to the city to busy to hate, the grand place of the 100th
Centenial Anniversary of the Modern Olympic Games, the Great Peach State of
Georgia should know this.............................

* The Flint River Council is just below Atlanta, our 2200 acre Camp Thunder
while already booked solid for summer camp all nine weeks of next summer,
also has a high adventure canoe base on the other side of our Mountain. Many
troops coming to the Olympic Games have inquired about staying with us.
Other scouting groups on their way to the Florida Sea Base, or Florida
Troops on their way to Washington & Ely MN have also stopped & stayed with
us.

We are a year round camp with four full time staff people at our camp as well
as a large support staff (part time - year round). Our Trading Post is the
only scout camp in the nation now on the Internet (E-Mail at
BSAstore@aol.com, WWW home page under construction). We invite troops coming
into Georgia to consider spending a day or even a week with us. We have
Mountain Biking, Kyacking, Canoeing, Rapelling, COPE, the 57 mile Pine
Mountain Trail, and much more.
