I also just finished staffing our fall SMF course and graduated 35 scouters
including 2 new DEs. Our staff was about 20 strong. Our District runs a SMF
course twice a year (Spring and Fall). We follow the syllabus with minor
modifications to accomodate the different teaching styles of the staff. Our
participants included many Cub Scouters, several new scouters, an ex-council
exec. whose son was in Cubs, young man who is an Eagle scout and past ranger
at Philmont. Interesting group. YiS,
