You are not the only one. It appears that it depends on the time of day if the
Scouting Chat channel is operational. For those who are in the Southern
Hemisphere and several time zones away it is an impossible task as when most
IRC traffic is operatonal for scoputing it is when we are sleeping or are
working. There is a 24 hour time difference between the western hemispehere and
the eastern hemisphere.

I understand that the IRC channel for Scouting is #scouting, but I am
confused as to which irc server to get on. I have tried several servers,
but to no avail. Please shed some light for me, and perhaps others, if you
have an answer.
