A new hat (job ... not headgear). An Explorer's Hat!

My church has "asked" me to step into the Advisor job in a weak Post
made up of older boys "too cool" to do things with the "little scouts."
Accordingly, they've "devolved" into a bunch of "whaddawanna do? I
dunno, whadda you wanna do? (repeated ad nausium)" type of folks.

Now, don't misunderstand me. These young men have potential or I would
not have took the job.

My job, get them going again. There are two Life Scouts who lack only a
Service Project and a dose of Scout Spirit to become an Eagle. I'm
going to try to help them find a focus. I'm open to suggestions about
training for myself and the boys; proposals that worked (or didn't);
sources of good information (including web and archive sites).

I apologize for my Loooooong address. It's a Bell Helicopter (mainframe
bigot) thing.
