Administrative Reminders

It appears it is time to remind everyone about some of the
Scouts-L posting policies ... all these are spelled out in
the WELCOME file that everyone receives when they subscribe:
-- Dont quote messages when replying. If you feel you must quote
inorder to keep things clear then EDIT EDIT EDIT.
-- Use private email whenever possible. There are TOO many private
postings showing up that should not. These include thanks you
notes, contratulations, "I agree", welcomes, etc.
There are others, but the above 2 items have been highly abused as
of late. Please take time to (re)read the WELCOME file and try to
stay within the guidelines.
Finally, take time to learn your email package. Everyones email
"From" address is in the email headers, but some packages hide them.
You need to know your email software in order to see the headers and
reply directly to individuals as well as the ability to NOT quote
message.
