This an be pretty confusing, but I'll try to answer. We have had two Eagles
recently, so it is pretty fresh in my mind.
The Official date for the Eagle advancement is the date of the Eagle Board
of Review. The recognition is not "official" until National has processed
the paperwork and sent a positive notification back to the successful
candidate.
Hope this clears up the confusion.
