A Re-introduction and tele-conferencing

Greetings all!

I have been lurking quietly below the surface of SCOUTS-L for about a year
now learning amd watching. It's kind of like being a kid watching another
bunch of kids play baseball through the school fence! Well I want to play too!

I am the CubMaster for Pack 383 in Beaverton, OR and I also have been know
to associate with a bunch of 3rd graders that are my Bear Den. I have
recently taken over the CubMaster duties from Peter VanHouten, whom many
of you may recognize.

Now for the fun stuff! I am looking to see if any of you with Cub Scout
dens have access to a tele-conferencing system? I would prefer a Bear
den but any others would be fine.

I am looking for an opportunity to share our den and pack with another
den remotely using tele-conferencing equipment. Another of my Bear den
leaders and I will do arrange the call, all you have to do is be somewhere
we can reach you. I think it would be fun for the boys to see what the
technology can do and to also share in the world of scouting.

I think we would like to do this sometime in the December time frame.

Any takers?

Thank you all for a wonderful SCOUTS-L. After watching you through the fence
for a year I think I have a better understanding of the rules and I am looking
forward to playing!

In scouting!

Dave
