IMHO:
1. There is nothing inherently wrong with an all-boy program.
2. There is nothing inherently wrong with an all-girl program.
3. There is nothing inherently wrong with a co-ed program.
Why can't there be all three and let the youth choose which they want to be
a part of? They can be called "Boy Scouts," "Girl Scouts," and "Person Scouts"
or whatever works. That would make everyone happy except those who insist on
everything being their way. I'm not against a co-ed program, but I also feel
that the option for separate-sex organizations not be eliminated. Just a
thought.
