Is it Fall Yet?

Is it fall yet?
Just came back from our annual sailing regatta!
Troop 1 holds the event in the fall. It was only 101 degrees!
But that was ok, because I had my great Campmor Battery Operated Fans (2).
One for both ends of the tent. I had it made! That was until all of the
scouts
had gone to bed.
That's when it started. Our Scoutmaster that is. He bagan by telling me how
his girl scout daughter had taken his fan to camp and broke it. He went on
and on about his allergy, the flu, illness, the heat, the scouts, and
chiggers. Despite the fact I was falling asleep he continued and tossed in
war, famine and perhaps locus.
Well I really wanted to get to bed, and I knew the only way I was going to go
to sleep was to sacrifice a fan. So I went to my tent, and gave him one of
my fans. I immediately ran back to my tent as fast as possible, before he
could continue with his sad tales.
Needless to say, I was not extremely comfortable, but at least I finally
got away from Scoutmaster Mike and sleep was only a moment away!
The next morning, I got up and felt that I was safe from Scoutmaster Mike.
Then it happened! Scoutmaster Mike upon exiting his tent, comes over
immediately and says"

"YOU KNOW YOU ARE RIGHT.
IT WOULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE WITH TWO FANS!"

Well as I said, I am ready for fall.

P.S. If I ever bring anything like a food, blanket or pillow,
you can bet, I will keep it hidden from our Scoutmaster!
