Prayers - A Scout is Reverent

David has some good points. IMHO religious tolerance
does not mean that everyone should be forced water down their
prayers to the point where they are almost devoid of religious
significance in an attempt to find the least offensive prayer.
I would rather see everyone strongly express their own faith and
have no one take offense. So instead of nondenominational
prayers at Scout meetings, I would like to have the various faiths
in the organization take turns leading their own prayers. Over the
course of the year everyone would be included instead of everyone
being excluded because we prayed the prayers of that non-existent
church: nondenominational.
