Re: Blackeagle Services

Ruth:

Blackeagle Services is an information management firm here in Bowling
Green, Kentucky. I run it alongside my wife, Jessica Ann (Jessiann)
Walton. We provide instruction on using a personal computer, using
the Internet, and getting access for those interested. We also
provide hands-on instruction in the usage of several software
programs, and was named as one of the first resellers of the Geoworks
operating environment and software.

Back in the fall, we decided that in order to help fellow Scouters
that wanted to get information from the Internet (from this list, from
other resources) and could not or chose not to get "connected" with
us all, to offer some resource materials. The first was copies of the famed
Eagletips Two set, which I edited and posted here to our archives.
Since the entire package is well over 3 MB in length (and growing), I
took it, transposed it to Geoworks format, and started offering it to
those interested in getting a copy. Only three people, including Kim,
took me up on the offer (we were expecting more, but it just didn't
happen that way).

When I started to get diverted from work to deal with family problems,
and later on being recalled to do a series of projects connected with
the Army Reserve's transition from a set of small state commands to a
set of large regional commands, my work with Blackeagle Services took
a nosedive to say the least. That is the reason why Kim is not
satisfied and why we had to slow things down.

Jessiann keeps telling me I have a problem with promptness. I guess I
should listen. That's why Kim is angry (and I've haven't read his
posting yet!) I don't blame him, Ruth, but his email says that he'll
be out of town until the end of the month for vacation.

The only thing I can do is to make it right. That's what we train our
Scouts to do and that's what we try to do at Blackeagle Services..."no
fancy slogans, just good work!".

Glad you asked, since there's a lot of folks here that weren't here
when we announced our plans last year.

Settummanque!
