My trek began on 7/17. We only had rain the first day at base camp and then
the first night at Cathedral Rock Camp. The remaining days except days 10,
11, and 12 were nice. Days 10, 11, and 12 were extremely dry and hot. Those
days we stayed at New Abreu, did conservation at Stonewall Pass, Urraca, and
Miners Park. It's amazing how much water we went through on those days.
Isn't it annoying when staff decides to add to your postcards!
We did trek #7, rugged 61 miles. It was the second time for me to do the
same trek. It seemed longer and much harder this time.
