This individual has also ripped off Scouters under the name James Lesly.
As a matter of practice, I no longer send anything to Knoxville addresses
unless I have received the exchanged material first. It's sad that
exchanging badges has come to this. In addition to myself, I am also
aware of Scouters from Bermuda and British Columbia that have become
victims of this individual. Among the aliases being used are James
Lesly/Clyde Bell/Dr. C.J. Bell/Wally Loper. Addresses include West Oldham
Avenue and mail drops including the University of Tennesee. E-mail
addresses include the University of Tennesee and sailnet.com. I would not
be surprised if he is still subscribed to Scouts-L under yet one or more
aliases. And I have been told that he may be working other Internet lists
and Bulletin Boards as well. I would strongly advise anyone in the midst
of exchanging badges with any of the aliases, that they hold up until
they've received the material first. Please feel free to contact me
