Letter of Introduction

Hi there!
My name is David L. Scammell (just call me Dave) and I'm new to the SCOUTS-L
Mailing List. In keeping with introductory messages, here's a short
introduction:
I am currently an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 227 (in Orlando, FL), West
Orange District, Central Florida Council. I began my Scout career in Webelos,
where I earned the Arrow of Light. I finished "growing up" in Troop 227,
earning the rank of Eagle & Ordeal membership and stayed with the troop after
turning 21 (I attained Brotherhood several years ago as an adult).
Other adult positions held include: District Training Staff (JLT, JLOW, BLT &
Scoutmaster Fundamentals) & Chairman, District Camporee Staff & Chairman, Troop
Advancement Chairman, District Member-at-Large and OA Native American Advisor.
Although I grew up in Scouts and have trained many others, I still find myself
discovering new techniques, experiences, thoughts & ideas. That's what I love
about Scouting, it's a continuous opportunity for all involved to grow, share &
experience Life!
