Scouting material for both scouts and leaders, including campfire songs,
games, history, world news, unit administration information, and official
policies can be found at these FTP sites:
1. Anonymous FTP: ftp.ethz.ch Path:/rec.scouting/*
2. Anonymous FTP: pluto.utdallas.edu Path:/
3. Anonymous FTP: rtfm.mit.edu Path:/pub/usenet/news.answers/scouting/*
Files stored at pluto.utdallas.edu can also be accessed by Gopher or
WWW. Each FTP site has its own directory structure and hundreds of
useful files. Remember that part of the fun is figuring out where to
get what information.
ScoutWare 1.0 for windows is now available for download via anonymous FTP
from ftp.us.net. The directory is /pub/scout and the file name is scoutw.exe.
