Subject: Boston - Camp Sayre

<Anyone - Have you heard that Camp Sayre was sold to MDC?
<Does anyone have more information regarding the sell of this CAMP? Is this
<true?>

Hi Bill!
My name is samer lawand from the old colony council boyscout troop 2232. I
just heard about the sale on the past saturday from a fellow asm. What he told
me that they sold the rights of development to the MDC and not the actual camp.
What ever that means. He said that the camp remains as the Boston minuteman
council property to use for scouting and such. All they lost is that they can
not develop it into anything else except as a camp. I hope this information
helps whether it is completely true or not I am not sure. I regret that our
councils have to resort to activities like that. But I blame myself and other
troops that do not help the council enough to raise the money needed to keep
them going. The old colony council has also sold part of their camp to a
residential developer. They are having major financial problems and they have
till the end to the year to shape up or we lose the charter.
Best of luck.
