Back from Philmont

I am back from our trek to Philmont. All 19 of us got back in one piece. A
few blisters, sprains, cuts, and scrapes, but otherwise in pretty good shape.
Our trek just hit between 2 storm systems so we only got 3 light showers
during the 14 days we were at Philmont. The trek before us got 10 straight
days of rain!!! We Californians brought our sunshine with us, I guess.
This really was a trip of a lifetime. We all grew in many ways, and all are
planning to go back in '97.
