I consistently hear from participants of both that Floodwood and the
Adirondack's are a BETTER canoe trek than the High Adventure base in Maine.
Maybe that is too close for you to consider a real trek. Floodwood is
operated by Bergen Council in NJ (not my council, just relaying information).
I would like to go to Ely in 1997.
