welcome to the adult world. I am a SM going on 3 years and have always
promoted a "boy run" troop, providing support as necessary. Its not always
easy to balance everyones wants and needs.
Remember, that as the leader your responsibility is to the other Scouts, not
the leaders. Their job is to support you and the troop. Don't be afraid to
go to the Troop Committee with your concerns, they are there to support you
and the troop too. Finally, attend the local Roundtable, there are plenty
of resources at these meetings that can help out. If possible, ask a
district scouter (professional) to help. Good Luck.
