While I was up at Nationals several months ago (Sept 94), finishing up some work
with Tony Booth (the BSA's Siberian Scout Initiative Director), I did not see
the trading post, which conforms with what I found out earlier, and that was the
National Office closed the trading post in the office building due to the belief
that it was competing with the Scout shops of the Circle Ten and Longhorn Area
Councils. The National Office also closed another Scout Shop in Dallas Area
that was operated by Nationals rather than the local councils.

Can anyone say whether or not Nationals has re-opened the trading post in the
office building?
