Done well, it is a hillarious, gooey mess - just the sort of thing kids love
to see - especially when you have adult Leaders doing it.
Essentially, you have one distracted Leader, trying to do two or three
things at once, while trying to explain the thousand-and-one uses of a
bandana to a newbie Leader (who has mistaken the word "bandana" and has
picked up a banana).
The newbie attempts to use the banana for things far better left to a
bandana, such as wiping the perspiration from one's face, blowing the nose,
tying it around the neck, using it for a washcloth, hanging it on the
backpack to dry...
We have a husband and wife team that do this wonderfully well - she plays
the distracted Leader, he plays the newbie. Fred goes through the thing
looking perpetually perplexed, but sportingly tries to use the banana as
suggested. It gets really messy, the kids have a ball, and you should see
what happens when he uses the banana to wash dishes!
