Recent posting commented "it would be great if all Eagle scouts joined
the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA)". In the Will Rogers
Council, the local NESA group sponsors a 10 year free membership and
presents this membership to Eagles as a part of the Court of Honor at
which they receive their Eagle medal. I do not recall the cost of a
10 year membership, but it is real CHEAP! Suggest other Councils
consider some similar method - the ksids a member for 10 years and may
renew later when he has money - ages 24 to 28 based on the typical age
that a boy earns his Eagle.
