Randy -
I used a spreadsheet program and made a graph -- boys down the side,
requirements across the top to track Wolf and Bear requirements met. I
printed the grid out, and 3-hole punched it for the Den Binder (where I
keep individual records, etc.) I put an "X" in the box when the
requirement is signed off. This gives me a very visual way to track who
needs what. Maybe the same would work for you? Kyna
From Gary: Lately I have found the Buckskin card really helpful for the
Webelos and AOL requirements tracking. The boys are responsible for their
own card, which gets them ready for scouts anyway. I have found that when
we work on pin requirements in the Den, the boys are for the most part, all
at the same point with a particular pin. It is when a boy disappears for
three weeks -- like one of my first year boys -- that I have a problem
figuring out where he is. The thing that I need to work on better
dicipline is marking the boys books each week. That is where an ADL or Den
Chief can be a big help.
