Hi everyone. My name is Kathy Andersen from the Southeast Wisconsin Council
in Racine Wisconsin. I am currently the Assistant Scoutmaster of our Troop,
the Council Training Chairperson, and an advisor to our OA Lodge. I have
attended and staffed Wood Badge and I am staffing our Junior Leader Training
Course this summer. I have the District Award of Merit, OA Advisor's award
and a few training awards. I am also a Vigil Member of the Order of the
Arrow. I have a few questions I was hoping to get help with.
1. Has anyone tried the new Cub Scout Leader Basic Training Program? What
kind of suggestions do you have to be sure everything is covered? We have
just started doing it and find that there is very little time to answer any
question.
2. A few weeks ago we conducted a Show and Do. The few people who were
there had a great time and are hoping that it will be held again next year.
Any ideas of sessions that can be done to try and encourage more attendance?
3. We would like to have a "Cooking with Cubbies" session at our Pow Wow
next fall and are looking for some good ideas that Cub Scouts can do. I have
quite a few receipes to use with Boy Scouts but am stuck with ideas for Cub
Scouts.

ideas.
