Sometime ago, when I first subscribed to this list, I asked the Cubs and Scouts
of my Group if they would like to write anything to post on the list.
Eventually 2 did so and here are their offerings. (Alex is just about to move up
to Scouts and Maz was invested about 6 weeks ago - both are 10.5 years old) I
have not edited what they wrote in any way (not even the spelling!)

1/ Hello from the 12\15 Newcastle cub scouts. Nescastle is in the northern part
of England. people from newcastle are called Geordies. I was wondering if you
had any Iders for new badges I Also wonder if any other cubs have more badges
than us like a badge competition or who has the rarest or the strangest badge I
also would like to know witch cub group is calling from the furthest
Alex

2/ Hello I am Maz, Whats your name? Where do you live in Amewrica? I live in
Newcastle do you live near the beach? I think its dum how you drive on the right
and we drive on the left do you? Who is your favourite movie star? Is it hot
where you live because here it's cold. Do you like camping and has anything
strange happen to you when you go on camp, Hope you write back.
Yours faithfully
Mazear Mahmid

They would love to get replies.
