2-Deep Male/Female Requirements

Our situation: Post 1 (coed) and Troop 1 going to Florida Seabase in
June. Three crews, so need 6 adults; have recruited 4 females so far plus me
(registered as a male). Not even one of the females is a mother of a
participant. Still looking for 1 more adult.
I will accompany the Boy Scouts on the Out Island Adventure. The other
leader will be decided later, but could be any one of the 4 females (even if
she is under 21, as I understand policy).
The problem is with the 2 Explorer crews going on the Coral Reef
Sailing. Both crews are coed and do not want to segregate by gender on the 2
"boats". Can 2 female leaders (if both are 21 or over) sail with a coed crew
(6 youth)? I assume that the two "ships" will follow the same itinerary each
day and dock or anchor together each night. Could they sail as mixed gender
during the day, but switch around and sleep as single gender at night? The
craft with only females would be more crowded at night in that scenario.
Assuming that the 6th leader we recruit is male will not change the
situation. But if he and I went sailing with 2 of the females, could the
other 2 females accompany the Scouts (all male, of course) on the Island?
Not according to what I know.
Please do not ask me to call 305-664-4173 (Fla SeaBase). I would
rather get an answer from yall. Besides that costs and I will leave that
for the Post Advisor. She is the one who recruited me and all of these
females and got me into this predicament.
