Akela Calls June 9-11 at East Stroudsburg University, PA? If so let me know.
I was also wondering if anyone can give me any feedback on this conference?
This gathering seems to have a lot to offer, but is it worth the $110 fee?
As a new den leader for the fall of '95 would I see any benefit from going?"
Tim, I staffed the last one, in 91, and I am staffing this one as well. I
don't
know if you have been to a Pow-Wow, but this is much like a big, 2-day
Pow-Wow.
As you can see from the brochure, it offers lots of interesting sessions for
all
kinds of people. And it is a lot of fun, too.
I think you will definitely get something out of it, but in this early stage
of your
Cub Scouting career, be sure you get to Basic Training and your local Pow-Wow
as well. If going to AC means skipping either of those, I would go to those
first.
But I hope you can make it to Stroudsburg.
If anyone hasn't seen the flyer, check your local Scout office; they should
have
them.
