I have no idea if what I am about to suggest is a violation of the rules,
let your conscience be your guide. (I don't remember anything in the
Insignia Guide that would influence me either way so I will put it out
for you to think about).
The temporary patch pocket seems to allow for a wide variety of patches.
A troop patch that mother's/parent's pins could be attached to, worn on
the temporary patch pocket may be just the ticket.
Woggles/Neckerchief slides also seem to be another area where a great deal
of personal choice is allowed. There may be an opportunity for you to design
your very own woggle here.
