According to the April 1995 issue of the Northeaster which I received
yesterday, AKELA CALLS has about 400 people already signed up. The regional
office is however still encouraging councils to get the word out. Gene
Stone, Director of the Cub Scout Division at NBational and Ed Woodlock,
Associate National Director will be in attendance. Focus for the workshops
will be volunteer involvement, quality programs, membership techniques and
how councils and districts can support Cub packs.
Date and place - June 9-11, 1995 - East Stroudsburg University, PA. Check
