Uniform Pants, Noisy Camps, et. al.

A few quick points:
On the uniform pants with cargo pockets:
Am I really the only Scout or Scouter who never found the cargo
pockets large enough to be of any use? I cannot say that I have missed
them (although I have them on my long uniform pants and some of my shorts)
because I never use them. I cannot put anything in them comfortablely -- and
I have tried.
On noisy camps:
The main summer camp for the Northwest Suburban Council (and the
Three Fires Council, and maybe the Southeast Wisconsin Council) -- Camp
Napowan -- is divided by a county road. Although not noisy, this road can
be a hazzard since it is fairly frequently driven by the people who live on
it. I also have the impression that some of them purposely drive fast past
the camp because they resent all the kids milling around near the road.
One more point:
I am about to leave (8:50 tomorow morning) for a 5 week business
trip to Seattle. If anyone in the area would like to invite me to visit
their Scout Troop, or Roundtable meeting, send a note to me at
oakes@cig.mot.com, and let me know where and when and a phone number so I
can contact you. If I'm free I'll try to drop by and check out your
operation.
